Who we are.

My name is Andrew, and this is my family. We are a small business who stands behind everything we sell with third-party testing, so we can guarantee groceries and supplements that are free of synthetic folic acid!

 

Why is MTHFR important to us?

As far back as I can remember I’ve been sickly with little-to-no immune system (despite growing up on a dairy farm and being exposed to ALL the dirt and germs!). I also struggled with severe gut issues, aggression, behavioral issues, brain fog, and memory problems. The doctors just wrote me off as another sickly child.

 

It wasn’t until my adult years when I met my amazing wife that we finally connected the dots. She convinced me to get tested for MTHFR, and despite my objections, I’m so glad I did! Finding out I had the MTHFR gene mutation CHANGED MY LIFE!

 

Before my diagnosis I was convinced I was dying of some horrible, unknown disease, but after completely cutting out all folic acid, ultra-processed foods, and adding methylated supplements to my diet, I noticed amazing changes that I never thought possible! I stopped getting sick, my insomnia went away, my high blood pressure dropped, my acid reflux disappeared, and my mood, memory, and focus drastically  improved. Even my chronic pain showed improvement.

 

When my son was born we had him tested and, sure enough, he had the same gene mutation I do. All I knew was that I was going to do everything in my power to make sure he doesn’t have to go through what I did!

 

After countless hours of struggling to find MTHFR-friendly foods, just to be accidentally poisoned by folic acid, I thought to myself, “wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a website dedicated to MTHFR-friendly foods that were guaranteed to be safe?". I just wanted to spend more time with my family and less time guessing.

 

As a father and fellow human being, it’s my goal to ensure every family has access to food that won’t make them or their loved-ones sick.
